Single(s)/EP: $70 / sliding rate per song, until “album” at 8+
Full Album: $400 (8 – 12 songs, approx. 30 – 40mins)

I use analog and digital gear to get the best tone & balance out of your mixes, then create a master file set for the record.

“What is Mastering?”

Mastering is preparing music for release – with audio adjustments, song sequencing, and file organization.

Songs should sound consistent across an album, relative to each other and all other releases. Getting that balance right often involves EQ, compression, clipping, limiting; the songs may also need fades, de-essing, noise-reduction, etc. Adjustments are usually subtle but they don’t have to be.

Finally, the album is exported into a set of files for upload and physical media production.

Process

I work in phases. I start by sequencing the songs and making the most coarse audio adjustments, then revisit a couple times to fine tune.

Turnaround is usually 2 – 3 weeks from receiving mixes.

“deliverables”

For singles, a full-res WAV file is prepared for digital distribution/upload.

For albums and EPs, additional files are prepared for physical media, along with a full
